Ingredients:
315g —— all-purpose flour
100g —— candy canes (50g crushed into big pieces, 50g crushed
into fine powder)
1/4 tsp —- salt
1/2 tsp —- baking soda
3/4 tsp —- baking powder
250ml —– butter, softened
180g ——- brown sugar
50g ——— granulated sugar
1 ———– egg
1.5 tsp —– vanilla extract
Directions:
1, In bowl, beat together butter and brown and granulated sugar until fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla extract.
2, In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 50g candy canes powder; stir into butter mixture in 3 additions.
3, Form dough into small balls (about 15ml each), press slightly when placed on lined baking sheets. Bake in center of 375F (180℃) oven for 5-6 minutes. Remove and sprinkle some chopped candy cane over cookies, pressing gently into each. Bake until golden, 5-8 minutes longer. Let cool on pan on racks for 5 minutes, transfer to racks; let cool completely.
