Eggless Cake Recipe
200g Evaporated Milk
140g Self-raising Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
60ml butter, melted and cooled down to room temperature
1 tsp vanilla essense
75ml water
Instruction:
1. Preheat oven to 400F (200C)
2. Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda
3. Add evaporated milk, butter, vanilla essense and water
4. Beat with electrical mixer till mixed evenly
5. Spread oil on cake pan and dust on a layer of flour. (If using non-stick pan, you can skip this step)
6. Pour in the cake mixture and slightly bang the cake pan on table to make sure the surface is flat
7. Bake for 10 minutes. Without taking it out, change the oven temperature to 300F (150C), bake for another 10 minutes
8. When the cake start to separate from the cake pan, it indicates that the cake is done. Remove the cake from the oven, let cool for a minute, then take it out and flip it onto a rack to cool.
